Primary care insomnia and experience
The successful candidate will investigate primary care quality, particularly in the areas of drugs and/or psychological therapies for insomnia and in improving patient experience, building on our previous work on sleep and patient experience in primary care.

Physical activity and cognitive function
The successful candidate will investigate changes in cognitive and physical function that can be achieved through a range of physical-cognitive,single and dual-performance activities in participants with a chronic condition. Applicants with an interest in diabetes are particularly welcomed.

Pulmonary rehabilitation and behaviour change in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
The successful candidate will develop and assess the efficacy of interventions aimed to increase participation in pulmonary rehabilitation and/or support the adaptive behaviour change necessary to maintain the health benefits received from pulmonary rehabilitation

Prehospital/ambulance care improvement
The successful candidate will investigate a specific aspect of improvement and implementation science in ambulance services focussing on our areas of interest such as improving patient experience, decision making or clinical outcomes.
